"A Writer's Life"

Teachers: Looking for an affordable alternative to an in-person visit?

Would you like your students to experience a rich, prolonged mentoring program?

Then "A Writer's Life" e-mail workshop is the perfect choice!

What the workshop offers:

One-on-one mentoring with Ms. Gilbert to help students build confidence, writing know-how, and develop a true sense of what "a writer's life" is all about.

The opportunity for students to get personal feedback on their writing.

How it works:

Messages are exchanged once a week, with the author responding to each student individually.

Students then "submit" their polished pieces for publication in "A Spider on the Stage" webzine. (parental permission required).

Goals:

For students to gain a greater understanding of the processes involved in buiding and nurturing a professional writing career.

To find inspiration in their own creative abilities.
